For those that missed WWE Night Of Champions, Sting appeared to have injured his back when he took a back first turnbuckle bomb from Seth Rollins. Sting had trouble moving around after that spot and trainers came into the ring to check on Sting.

We are told that Sting’s injury is legit and not part of the match. The match would have gone a few minutes longer but the call was made to end it early and have Rollins pin Sting with a small package.

Off camera, Sting was helped to the backstage area by trainers and the referee. There were more trainers waiting for him at the top of the ramp area. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Sting could have easily did the Dwayne Johnson smoke and mirrors special. He got everything he could out of his 56 year old body and deserves credit for it. He has no business being in the ring anymore though. Nor does anyone over 50
