Sting is scheduled to appear at tonight's WWE RAW from Lardeo, Texas, despite suffering a neck injury last night at Night of Champions.

The 56-year-old wrestling legend was originally planning to fly home after last night's pay-per-view, according to PWInsider, but remained in Texas to undergo medical tests to determine the extent of his injury. WWE.com confirmed that Sting was injured, but did not give any further details.

Naturally, there was a lot of concern for his well-being and Sting is considered a pleasure to work with behind the scenes.

As for what Sting will be doing tonight on RAW, there's a good chance WWE will be writing him off television for the foreseeable future while they await an official diagnosis on his health.

Sting for the love of God please rest. You have nothing to prove, just collect those WWE checks. You don't need to be taking those spots anymore. I like the fact you just want to entertain and put over young talent, but please don't end up in a wheelchair.

From his manager

"As many of you may already know, Sting is undergoing treatment for the injuries he sustained in last night’s match with Seth Rollins. Doctors will continue to evaluate his condition, but he is a man of remarkable health and resiliency, especially at his age and with all he’s endured throughout his stellar career. Therefore, we are optimistic he will have a speedy recovery and return to full health soon. Sting has kept his body in excellent shape, due largely to the guidance he’s received from his personal trainer Jeff Cavaliere (ATHLEAN-X), and we trust this will prove beneficial to the recovery process. As a side note, we later learned the greatest damage to his body took place before the match was over, but being the true professional he is and among the hardest workers to ever step foot in the ring, he insisted to see the match through to the end." -Steve Martinez

What's so hard about removing the monitors in the modern era? This is atleast the 2nd or third time someone landed on one of them.

It's like people didn't see Orton nearly destroy his back on one at last year's WrestleMania.

and that was the second turnbuckle spot. do you have a gif of this one but about 3 seconds longer?

also, why are people saying Sting needs to retire? he looked good last night up until this point in the match. hell he looked to be in better shape than when he 1st came to the WWE

this highlights part of whats wrong with WWE main events these days...that announce table spot was not needed.
Sting was not injured during his run in TNA, his match with HHH, and his match on raw.

I hope he comes back for one more match

WWE feels all over the place - from the presentation, to the face/heel alignments, to the in-ring product. There is no consistency, other than that fact itself.

you can't even identify what the wrestlers are. like none of them have strengths and weaknesses anymore.

if you recall the only thing that gave savage the advantage over hogan was his ability to come off the top rope. if they didn't play up that fact, you would never believe savage could win. hogan was too big and too strong, they had to put emphasis on randy's athleticism.

so you would think that if sting were to hop in there with seth rollins, that he would have the clear strength advantage but that seth would have the athleticism and the speed advantage. but no, that's not even a factor in these matches anymore. nobody cares. seth did his most damage to sting last night with power maneuvers. guy was tossing him around like a rag doll. fukkin powerbombing him into a corner like it's nothing. it does nothing for seth and it does even less for sting. if anything it makes sting look like a nobody.

best believe seth wouldn't be doing that to brock.

They act like they don't want to break kayfabe, or it would be too much of a tipoff.

When in reality, why not have your announcers covertly remove the monitors?

They love to use the "monitor grab" to take time in a match, basically...even though they shouldn't waste a second protecting their opponent.

They've risked Orton's back and Sting's head now. Worth abandoning whatever they think is tradition.

A lot of matches last night had some dumb spots. That had Nikki Bella of all people suplexing Charlotte 80 times into the ropes/turnbuckle. They are lucky she didn't break her neck/spine

I still hate that Superplex into a Falcon Arrow move that Rollins does. It makes zero sense.
