It more than lived up the hype. Game blessed us with a double album with almost no filler. Only track I skip is hash tag. There's not been another double album where I skip fewer tracks. And on top of that it was a true double album, not two 50 minute discs. shyt is amazing really.

I think 2.5 might be the better project but 2 has some standouts, especially the title track

As far as double hip-hop albums go where does it rank? Definitely better than Blueprint 2, Streets Disciple…can’t think of other doubles by a solo artist to compare this too (at work at the moment).
Wu Tang Forever and Diplomatic Immunity are the 2 GOAT double albums….don’t know if comparing them when a solo artist is completely fair. As for solos, I’d say he made the greatest double album of all time.

Streets Disciple is a personal favorite album of mine but objectively speaking Documentary 2.5 is better.
