there's a lot that goes into lower rates of marriage for black women...not sure what that has to do with the overall reality that HVW who do get married don't usually jump from HS into marriage these days

It is a lot in marriage rates, but I’d say a man with money isn’t exactly looking for an established in her career/age woman

All grooming is sick. If she was her own person & was figuring herself out she wasn’t groomed. Someone that’s grooming you doesn’t allow you any room to grow, like those men that don’t want their wives to go to college, to have a career, to have money outside of them. I think the only reason people are even using the word grooming for them is because of the age gap but 12 years isn’t even a lot imo.
