What is this "MSG incident" in question here? :patrice:

The Kliq (sometimes spelled as Clique) was a backstage group in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the mid-1990s, which some claim held substantial booking power, were shown favortism by owner Vince McMahon and were accused of refusing to be fair to anyone outside of the group.

The group was composed of Shawn Michaels, Kevin "Diesel" Nash, Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall, Sean "1-2-3 Kid" Waltman, and Paul "Triple H" Levesque. In 1996, The Kliq broke character at a house show at Madison Square Garden in an incident referred to as the "Curtain Call", an event which affected the WWF's subsequent storylines and development.

The Kliq was also the primary catalyst for the two most controversial stables in wrestling history: nWo in WCWand DX in the WWF.

I'll always admire how HHH convinced smarks that he was seriously punished for that

If anything HBGOAT was more punished he had to work with barf truck Vader, word to Sh1tman, for 2 months in the summer heat

In May of 1996 at a house show, Hall and Nash were leaving for WCW, and HBK and HHH decided to go to the ring and embrace each other in front the audience, breaking kayfabe (HBK and Hall were faces, Nash and HHH were heels). This pissed Vince off, but he couldn't punish Hall and Nash since they were leaving, and he couldn't punish HBK since he was WWF champion, so the heat fell on HHH, whose push came to a halt and whose KOTR victory went to Austin instead. Many people feel this was ultimately best for business since Austin went on to a meteoric rise to fame. :yeshrug:
