Yea he really did that no lie lol he said some shyt like... Don't make me run in your crib and put that gun to your bib some shid Like that but it's on flip & zro king of the south mix tape 1st song I believe I'll try and find the track on youtube

Yep, but this was also way after the fact, Telling Informant had already went on his barrage and Flip was simply going back at him. The whole beef was simply a T.I. fabrication and nobody started realising til a decade later.

Scarface had the nerve to say somebody wasn't from the hood and didn't live there when HE was living in some upscale safe powered white area at the time (I wanna say River Oaks)

:stopitslime:

Scarface was a certified legend in the game by the time this shyt started happening.

He was still supposed to be in the hood?

And

In the phone conversation, he never said Flip didn't live in the neighborhood, he said he'd never heard of him, meaning Flip was a square, and all that street shyt he was talkin was fugazzi

T.I.'s ego was the catalyst for the beef between he and Flip. If I remember correctly, it started because Flip wanted T.I. on the "Game Over" remix and T.I. wanted some ridiculous amount of money for the feature. Then T.I. was supposed to be featured on a cover of The Source with Flip, J-Kwon, and the Young Gunz, but he refused because he felt slighted that Flip turned down his offer. This is the issue of The Source I'm referring to:

Then Flip was rumored to be going around the A claiming he was King of the South while T.I. was locked up. The rumor gets in T.I.'s ear and that's when he dissed him.

It was petty, but T.I. kinda did put an end to Flip's career. I mean, Flip was coming off of the biggest records of his career and his biggest album. T.I. disses him and then it was like Flip didn't even exist. I remember seeing Flip on the '04 Source Awards and after that he released the tape/album with Z-Ro called Kings of the South. After that, it was delay after delay of his next album.

That Luda line dissing TI is so overrated :dead:

It's no better than ti's line against Luda on the same song.

Both were lukewarm shots and nothing special.

TI wasn't on that cover because he was in jail dumbass:russ:, as you can see it says "also starring T.I." on the left side:stopitslime:

1) Scarface never heard of Flip, yet DJ Screw, UGK, Botany Boyz, Big Moe, Z-Ro, Chamillionaire, Big Hawk, and several other Houston/S.U.C dudes very well did and had songs with him. Sounds to me like Face was lying, once again.

2) Flip's rhymes were always about just being fly, flossin, and reppin Cloverland until well into the T.I., it was the dudes around him that were the "real" tough guys. Flip was a smart dude and that showed in all his interviews, unlike T.I. who always sounded like he scans the thesaurus beforehand.

3) Scarface did say Flip wasn't from the hood and was never there, and if you say something like that about somebody, you better be there yourself and not be so far removed from it to where you truly do look like a square.

Point is, Scarface did a lot of lying just cause he felt like it, and cause Flip didn't want to sign a flimsy Def Jam South deal. He took that to the heart and T.I. took not being on XXL, Game Over and lies from hoes to heart. T.I. was in jail, and still salty. Remember this Top 25 Dirty South countdown thing BET had way back in maybe 06 or so? T.I. had to introduce Flip's Game Over, and you can tell he felt like a peon, holding his head all down and mumbling and shyt while introducing a video. No man that is supposedly in the right about some beef does anything like that.

There's a whole bunch of factors that come into this that @shopthatwrecks can hip you to, along with the fact that several threads have asked the same, but the short answer is somewhat.

But I will add, their beef mostly sparked due to T.I. being offended that he wasn't on the Game Over remix, and a massive misinterpretation over a Lil' Flip freestyle. Add to the fact that T.I. was starting to become a star, and Scarface straight up lying on Lil' Flip, you have a situation where Flip is basically blackballed from the industry, and the more popular person is looked at as the winner, when neither disses they spit toward each other were all that great. Face telling flat out lies about Flip is one of the biggest things I'll always remember, and though I still listen to his music, I've never looked Face the same after that.
what did face say

I mean, if you can't understand facts, that's not my problem, that's your parents and school system's problem.
