I think he did
DeVante was known for them New Jack Swing beats him and Al B. Sure was producing on Forever My Lady
That sound was completely abandoned and left behind when Diary of a Man Band came about
Most of those beats on Diary of a Mad Band sound very Timbalandish
U can tell DeVante added more instrumentation to the beats cause Tim is Hip Hop and was a DJ
DeVante was coming with the piano/keyboard keys and Dalvin w/ the drums

of course he did...

Devante was doing standard music business fukkery....

letting people work in the studio and jacking anything of value that they created

that's why none of them...Timb,Missy,Ginuine fukks with him after they blew up on their own
Tim actually did work on that last jodeci album.

Interesting, people say Timbaland made the beat to No More Pain for Tupac as well. He is even credited online but I don't think he always was.

Timbaland probably laid the beat down and DeVante played the piano on it; added a couple of more things to it.
Here's an interview with the engineer who worked on the song talking about the making of it.

nah. timbaland doesn't have the melodies or the acumen to do those beats.

also, somebody else from the camp shut timbaland's biting claims down, whether directly or indirectly. only one that ever cosigned him was Ginuwine who has/had a vendetta against Devante.

timbo might've ghosted some stuff on the following album tho. I can tell he put in more work on that one.

of course the old sound was abandoned. it was a different era.

the new jack swing era was over. hip-hop soul & g-funk was the new lick, and Devante was one of the producers in the driver's seat.

Devante was one of the producers shifting towards that sound before he even knew timbaland.

another beat that timbald couldn't possibly have ghost-produced, and sounds nothing like anything in his catalog.

he did some programming on it.
