This album is a summary of the best and worst of Kanye right now.
It's good, but you can tell the procrastination towards it was beyond prevalent. He definitely worked on this at the last minute. He was throwing stuff at a wall and seeing what sticks. I appreciate his talent and vision but he really has become mister "coming soon" like Juelz was becoming.
I really don't think he wanted this to flop, but TBH, this is a great example of just half-assing it and it getting a pass due to the credibility behind the individual obscuring it. In other words, Kanye is to big to fail, even though this obviously was a disaster.

up until that point the only songs we had heard were Wolves (OG) and some bullshyt throwaway with Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone
Then...no music.
Next thing you know it's January and Kanye's probably tossing around in his crib and said...oh I got to finish this album...
Then he hops on twitter
Then he calls it Waves
then he beefs with Wiz over Max B
Then decides to ask the public to name the album for him.
Then the cover...he changes it 3 fukking times and the new cover with that fukking fake ass is ghastly and...
He probably flew to Rick Rubin's pad/studio in Manhattan 2 weeks before the release date and just brought in as many people are possible to finish it. It sounds like it....
Drake's camp for all the negative that's been thrown their way has atleast been on point with releasing material. He's not pulling this half-assed fukkshyt Ye has been doing.
He'll probably drop it just with no warning like IF You're Reading This It's Too late. It'll probably do atleast 500K
