He puts out too much music to not have a ghost writer or someone on the team who is helping out.

As far as his flow goes, the guy has been in the studio with people like Jay-z, Nas, and Dr Dre. I am sure with all the people he's worked with over the years he was able to get tips on how to sound better on records.

Ross was always nice, first time I heard white house, I knew dude was gon be that nikka in rap

And alot of people dont know he recorded POM in 2 months while he was on tour, like he got signed after hustlin popped, and had to create the album in a few months time to be ready to hit the stores, by trilla he had step past that level , and the lead up to dtr was super crazy, and had the game on fire

The run between the run up to dtr to gfid is probably the top run in hip hop history imo

Deeper than rap
Timeless emduvers
Triple c white sand mixtape
Triple c album - ccc
AA
Deeper than rap
Ashes to ashes
Self made 1
Rich forever
Gfid

it was mostly just females and kids that thought wayne was better than turk back then. the casual rap crowd.

wayne was always nice tho.

but those squad up tapes are mad overrated on here. nobody cared about them chits like that back then but tackheads. theres a reason why the original C1 was scrapped, and theres a reason why gillie clearly ghostwrote on a lot of the released version.

Boy you sound stupid. His flow on the later SQ tapes is identical to the stuff he was spittin on C1, not to mention The Droughts, Prefix, Suffix, and Dedication 1 all had verses that would later appear on C1. Gillie was writing mixtape verses? LOL ok.

I can admit I underestimated dude, I heard Hustlin' and I love that track but I expected it to be his swan song honestly. That Trilla to now improvement seemed to come outta nowhere, dude got sharp once he found his lane, that big sounding glamour life music

He makes entertaining music and has an almost Fat Joe like ear for beats. Never gave a shyt about the C.O. stuff because honestly all i'm asking is entertainment not "authenticity" from rappers.

Gillie joined Cash Money late 2002. Rumored as a Big Tymer ghostwriter at the time, too, but once Wayne got better, of course up North cats started actin like hoes and claimin "Gillie wrote that."

People that actually believe Gillie wrote Wayne's lyrics are beyond caveman dumb. This isn't an obviously talented person like Nas, Del, or DOC penning ghost lyrics but some corny Philly cat that sounds like every other corny Philly dude. Not to mention, Wayne always had lyrics since Hot Boyz days and "Lights Out" and "500 Degreez". Literally the only thing Gillie taught Wayne was breath control and delivery. He also was a grown man and gradually lost his accent the more he spent touring outside of just living in NO. It's hard to believe Wayne at age 20 is a better writer than Wayne at age 14? The content and rhyming had always been there. Not to mention, HIS LYRICISM AND FLOW GOT EXPONENTIALLY BETTER AFTER GILLIE LEFT. Now does that make sense?

Your last sentence summed it up perfectly. This is what 90% of these rappers do whether it's directly or indirectly. You think Jada don't be writin or spitin in the booth and Sheek or Styles be like "naw man say this", Jay and Beans prolly did it Mase and Big, Pac and whoever etc. shyt DOC did that shyt for Snoop in his DR days, you get spitters around you and it's going to happen. shyt I listen to tracks sometimes and say "damn he should have put this in there" and I ain't even a fukkin rapper lol.

Jada ghostwrote for Biggie on "Last Day" also
