Was commonly done because they said catching it as an adult was more severe. I also don't think there was a vaccine at the time.

I got the chicken pox vaccine. My parents understood the value of vaccines and I didn't end up with scarred up skin like some of the kids who got it

Yup! Momma did that shyt to me. Sister got it, so she literally placed us side by side. I got them shyts shortly after.

I thought that mess was the worst until my Hives kicked in a few years later.
