I never knew many girl gamers growing up. I met a few at comic cons and such as an adult. They all seem to love Kingdom Hearts

I was gonna say when I found out there were girls in my class that played video games

I know of one that played DKC with me and her brother while we were growing up (family friend...smashed when we got older) and she was pretty decent at that game. She never put much effort into playing any other game at all tho besides that.

My 4 year old daughter is fairly interested into games right now. Mainly platformers. She got into them from just watching me play them, but not even from me asking/insisting that she play, just something she took an interest with. She plays Mario 3D & 2d ones, Rayman Legends, Tearaway and a few other games, with or without me now.

My cousin and my older sister both used to play, my sister still loves ninja gaiden on og Xbox, dunno about my cousin but she became an engineer which is considered a manly gig, she married now and got a kid

Not denying that. I made a mistake. I meant to say that and The Sims. I can go to a female gaming forum and it mostly consists of the Sims.

Once XBL came around I had a few on my friends list I'd play with constantly.

Actually my sixteen year old cousin plays games. She plays RE5 like damn near every day for like the past 7 years (360, now PS4) and other shyt(GTA, Watch Dogs 2, Bayonetta, Nintendo games etc.)

she's one of those gamers that don't stay focused, ADHD type gamers. You know the type where if there's not constant loud action and tension then they pull out their phone and look at something else. She'd lose interest the minute a regular dialogue window opens up.
