I remember before they started showing new episodes on cartoon network my friends and I rented the subtitled VHS tapes from a import store for months. I saw almost the entire Cell saga before the new episodes started airing on CN.

Had to time you pressing record to whenever your vcr ACTUALLY started to record to the Toonami intro. As soon as you heard that low "hmmmmm" with the graphic coming up, you hit that shyt, see the red light recording and hear Vegeta yell...



I got HQ Sony tapes recorded on SP mode of the Android/Cell Saga.

I felt like a G because my friend had the VHS tapes dubbed straight from the Japan shop at the mall. I knew what happened in the Frieza saga months before Toonami aired. nikkas couldn't tell me shyt

I am a lot older and dragonballz was apart of when mother's groups started rewarding any remedial kid with excellence awards for being stoopid and remedial.
So, when I saw the degradation to the next gen's cartoon from our Gen.
I just thought the fall off was to severe.
to even watch cartoons in the nineties and the real tv channels. ruined the world by not showing cartoons for a long time too.
Which is why we have so much damn violence in you guys Gen as you were not satiated with high quality content as youths and kids.
Flash forward to dragon ball the movie, my gateway into dragon ball z and I was astounded how good the butchered story was in a movie.
not well received or liked at all because of deviation from the domestic source material.
To understand dbz is the equivalent of what if America did sumfin right for the next Gen as far as content.
By giving kids a poorly drawn but better written superman.

Dbz has alot to be desired from an artistic standpoint and imo the anime generation style breeds mediocrity..as it was the only good content for your kids in your Gen.
So, they never strived to be better than mediocrely drawn out of proportion physiques and perspective in life completely.

The mother's group jerked y'all by barely giving y'all ronin warriors which barely came on and dbz.

I felt sorry for how deprived the prison industrial economy preyed on y'all.
via lack of high quality Content all the way around.


Y'all got hosed and luckily dbz is the only good result out of the entire situation for y'all as a generation.
As that is the only high quality thing y'all Gen got exposed to sadly and in that.
the art is so atrocious I think it kept the Gen from spiritually trying to be top shelf as far as overall quality in what they do.
As just like dragonballz your Gen thinks they can not get the perspective or anatomy right and thinks everyone is supposed to buy into visually some bullshyt drawing.
All cause someone said it was the only good thing to watch in a sea of mediocrity.

I feel sorry for y'all Gen cause y'all got played and dragon ball z was y'all only saving grace.

I am so glad I did not grow up in y'all deprived ass Gen.

THEY played the fukk outta y'all,......
Plus still playing y'all,.....

If not for dragon ball y'all child hood cartoons fukk'N sucked.
