For whoever mentioned me. In saw Kevin Hart back in 02-03 when had a 15 min set in a place called Maxines in Trenton maybe 20 mins from Philly. Did In think he was anything special, no, but he had stage presence which stood out to me especially for a dude who I thought was no older than 20 at 1st glance.

When he first started he had a stand up with comedy central. It was him and a few others. Also saw frank caliendo do stand up on this same show. Both were some of the worst stand ups ive ever seen.

I first saw Kevin Hart in 2005 in 40 Year Old Virgin. It was a funny scene.

In 2008, a black acquaintance recommended Kevin’s first standup, I’m a Grown Little Man. This was a funny standup.

So while I’ve never watched Soul Plane, although I do have a friend that loves that movie, I was pretty acquainted with Kevin’s work, early in his career.
