No, I didn't settle at all and she's perfect for me. I like her personality, appearance and we share the same beliefs. There's not a woman better for me. She's attracted to my personality, appearance, and she loves me more than anyone else ever could so I'm very happy with my choice.
I disagree with that "everyone settles to some degree" saying. Perfect people don't exist and it's impossible for someone to never do anything less than perfect to another individual. Either a persons S/O is a choice their completely happy with or their not in my opinion.

That's not why I made that face. It's unrealistic to expect people to never find anyone attractive.
