And if your 16 year old daughter is seeking “guidance” from a 30 year old man you have failed her as a father. Because the 30 year old men lining up for their turn are not offering any safety, guidance, or protection. They’re looking to take advantage of a path of least resistance and minimal expectations.

Part of developing some semblance of mental fitness as an adult man or woman is understanding that kids and teenagers need to be protected from bad decisions, and also from the predatory actions of other adults who want to exploit them.
