My point is that these white dudes are fukking with black rappers (even though they're less ill) cos they're the complete opposite of racist.

There's no doubt c00nery where black dudes wanna be down with the white man.... Just as the above.

And I'm sure there's white people who, like I'm advocating, fukk with whats hot regardless of race.... just as the historically oppressive minority, they're not allowed to say it.

Whereas it's more acceptable as a minority to make the above point.
I think it's acceptable both ways. It depends on the situation. musically it doesn't really matter because nowadays I barely know the ethnicity of the artist that i'm listening to.
But when roughly 12% of the US population are black while 72% are white and you got zero black movie blockbusters (not counting that c00n Scientologist will smith), can't really think of a black show on a regular network, only the token black guys in major shows. And no support for BET shows. while at the same time you got movies with an all white cast pulling in millions of dollars every two months. you got shows like two and a half men and big bang theory fully supported by all of america.
It's obvious that white people take care of their own people but we refuse to follow suit and instead support their people. This is not their fault, it's ours.

Ill be at the yeezy/ Kendrick concert next month surrounded by White fans who love music. Same shyt happened at the glow in the dark tour. They also buy merchandize.

bad example.

Kendrick & kanye get no burn in the hood.

the only rap concerts I go to where the crowd is mostly white are the shows by '90s rappers that peaked 15 or more years ago.

which is funny cuz, the '80s shows have mostly black crowds.

and black people support the hell out of black channels. tv-one, BET, bet centric, bounce. and now magic Johnson has the aspire channel.

also, I wouldn't even have known that diddy's channel actually launched if it wasn't for this board. I don't even know if I have it.

Hip hop is our shyt. We let the shyt die. We whine about buying album but make a weekly thread about rappers flopping. When a rapper flop the budget for others closes up. No one is getting signed. BUY MUSIC IF YOU WANT HIP HOP TO STAY ALIVE. GO TO SHOWS. Music is bigger than the artist. Mnay people are losing their job behind the scene. I dont even post in the booth anymore. Yall nikkas are stupid as fukkk....you sitting their watching this shyt die then claim yall love hip hop

I totally agree with this post.

totally.

:clap::clap::clap::clap:

Whole time Diddys the one that turned hip hop into pop in the first place. Now its our fault that he chose to create a pop music channel... :yeshrug:
that's what revolt is?
a pop music channel? I pass.

why should I be expected to support a channel that's not geared towards me?

I don't like diddy anyway.:pacspit:

Oprah came out with her TV network a few years ago and its just now starting to turn around and shes oprah. Diddy is going to have wait it out and allow the project to pick up. It hasn't even been one whole week how can it be a failure?

BET came out at the right time when black people supported black things. We sold out. This is about blacks in general. Read the first page of the booth. All it is are losers hating on the people who are successful. I wont see a post about whites hating their rock legends. Only us.....I dont blame diddy you cant rely on nikkas these days

go to tmz or facebook or twitter and you can cacs hate on other cacs all day

miley cyrus anybody?

I watch y'all turn on Kendrick Lamar

Is it possible some people are just not feeling his music?

Y'all shyt on jayz accomplishments....

Such as

Y'all think kanye is crazy for telling the truth about classism and racism

No we don't.

We've just heard it all before.

Kanye is not the first rapper to talk about class and race.

Why should we celebrate him for something others have been saying for the longest while?

You notice OP is only naming the most popular rappers (Diddy, Kanye, Jay-Z, Kendrick)

I never see people get outraged that Killer Mike, or Ab Soul aren't selling out shows or having their business ventures supported by the Black community...

Where was this thread when blacks didn't support the last G.O.O.D.I.E. Mob album?

He's just another bopper for mainstream corporate rap trying to wrap his opinions in Black Nationalism....

its a hip hop site.....black people started it.....its aimed at you coli dudes because yall laugh at rappers flopping when it shows hip hop is dying

A lot of these rappers think they are better than the people that are listening to them. There is a lot of ego among Black entertainers and this is why when they fail all they get is laughs and snickers.
