I disagree with you, he ruined the lives of Craig Mack and many others. His gayness has made others visually uncomfortable and he seems to be a money hungry shrewd business man. He even tried to take credit for a remix that Easy Moe B did.

He is respected due to his power to black ball people but he is not respected for any other reason and not everyone respects him. Drake doesn't respect him, Fifty doesn't and Future called him an old bytch.

I'm not the judge and jury of someone else's morals and sexuality.

Diddy is still respected and it has more to do with his ear for music than his power.

Never said you were but he is suspect as fukk and furthermore even with your second sentence I feel you are wrong.

Diddy hasn't had a hit in years, he has produced hits thanks to his production team many years ago but the bad boy label these days is trash. They had Janelle Monae for as long as they did and did her a disservice so I don't want to hear it. His ear might be good but he is a horrible business man and hasn't had a hit though you say he has good ears lol.

Not having a hit doesn't mean he doesn't have respect.

Breh, you have 0 credibility saying Diddy is a horrible businessman. If Diddy is a horrible businessman, then who is great? For every Janelle Monae, there's a Total, Faith Evans.

I hate Puff as much as the next hiphop fan:martin:

But you have to admit he put on more good artist than bad didn't he?

Thats what its all about,if your going to take away from the game, you have to at least give back. You have to ask if Puff gave more than he took?

Total and Faith Evans careers were hindered by that fukking label and I do have credibility as someone who is a true fan and lover of hiphop. I seen how many of his artist careers were cut short. I seen how the nikka did the Lox and I could go on and on. Even Charlemagne spoke on how he hated Revolt and he appears to be a snake. Cape for him as much as you want but some things are irrefutable.

Let's be reality, what is King Combs doing that's groundbreaking or truly shifting "the culture"?

Puff's own son is just as much of a place holder taking up space & diluting rap as everyone else. He sounds like Ma$e clone & he's listenable for no other reason than the fact he sampled Case's-Touch Me Tease Me/Schooly D-PSK & put Chris Brown on the hook to do the dirty work.

How so exactly? Break it down. what did they introduce that badboy followed?

The interpolations and loops of 80's Pop and R&B songs with mafiosos content rapped over them. It created a balance of street rhymes over polished, glossy commercial beats. Then there were the sing songy hooks like what Nas was doing on "Street Dreams". It Was Written is a great album, but it did set the stage for what Bad Boy was able to do a year later.

The music has been diluted for a while. Screw that fat face AK for always coming up with shytyy justifcations why there's no problem of rappers copy and pasting all of the other rappers aspect's, then that fat shyt has the audacity to say that music(Hip Hop) is currently very diverse. This AK fella is very delusional.

I remember on the forums in 96 guys would be complaining on the forum of rappers always dropping a verse on a RnB remix. Them glossy beats didn't last long very short lived.
