Usher was LA reid`s artists and Jermaine Dupree was producing a lot of his hits.

Diddly had very little to do with that.

Aaliyah is r Kelly & timbo & Missy.

Noticed how I said diddy was more image than anything else. Never did I say just all about image, but it shows the lack of the reading comprehension skills.

Diddy definitely had a hand in the materialised culture in hip hop.

It's funny how a lot of you flip flopping nikkas will complain about the lack of quality & skill when it comes to hip hop only to turn around and praise a man partly responsible for the long term damage on the culture.

not getting in yall shyt, but the 2 things i bold are incorrect...

1) diddy did usher's first album...had him looking like a member of jodeci lol....jd didnt start working with usher till the 2nd album....

2) materialism has always been in hip-hop, since the beginning...people have always rhymed/bragged about owning the fliest shyt, living large, etc...exs: sugar hill gang talking about shyt they didnt even own; special ed 'i got it made', rappers and jewerly, etc....puff just continued with what was already there....
