I wonder of Comcast can still drop this case in the US Supreme Court at this stage.

I'll rather them lose the case. It's gonna be huge for them to lose to Byron. Are you also wishing for Comcast to lose and for Byron to win?

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
So you want Comcast to lose and you want Byron Allen to win the case right?

No dog in the race.

Hate corporations.

So you aren't going to be mad or sad when/if Byron wins? I'm pretty sure you won't be mad, sad, or jealous about a black billionaire beating a large cooperation like Comcast in court for being racist towards a black ppl. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy for black ppl winning a huge case like this. Just asking to make sure I'm correct

I want Comcast to lose but. They escalated to challenge the USSC the1866 Civil Rights Act sectiom 1981" but for " standard vs motivating factor.
The standard is for going last the iniitial faze for a case to proceed. A plaintiff can then go on to discovery phase in the case. Comcast doesn't want a plaintiff to make it past the first phase of a case and want cases dismissed prior to a discovery of evidence phase if it doesnt meet the" but for" standard.
Check out or Google Amicus Brieff for this case or the SCOTUS blog yall.

I'll post the court hearing audio later it's on you tube.

I believe now the court is 5 conservative leaning judges to 4 liberal leaning ones.
The advantage probally in comcast so favor. Judge Clarence Thomas is a black conservative I wonder if if his black boot strapper personal views would be in Byron Allen's favor.

Pressuring Comcast to drop the case outright would prevent the standard being challenged at all.

Ok so you're saying if a black man fires a white dude 99% because he's white but 1% because he don't like his shoes then that white dude won't be able do nothing about it? He wouldn't be able to take his boss who's a black man to court and win the case?
That is correct.

The entire black community is standing up against Comcast. This is a fight that Comcast can't win. We will win and Comcast will lose big time.

“Other minorities,” huh? fukk “other minorities.” When advocating for justice, why do these cowards always feel the need to temper their rhetoric with an inclusive gesture to “other minorities.” It makes everything you’re saying appear counterfeit.

Big move by Diddy. Comcast can no longer hide behind him and Magic.

Sharpton, The Urban League and all the negroes who signed that MOU with Comcast need to step forward. This move by Comcast goes beyond the scope of that MOU (which was about programming) not inequity and certainly not a challenge to civil rights law. Comcast would only look worse if they tried to besmesrch the groups they paid off by bringing up those connections as proof against their racism.

@BulletProof I kind of get that you and others may be annoyed with some black celebs not being involved in black issues in the past.
But it is not relevant to Comcast bringing a case to the US Supreme Court for the 1866 Civil Rights Act.

Also Diddy has supported HBCUs with donations. Was with VOTE or Die, called out Obama failure of black people in the article I posted. Supported Kaepernick and the other Kneelers after the Trump SOB comment. Could he have done way more? Yes.
