Lol. Lenny Kravitz is big fitness guy. It's not just diet.

With that said Lenny Kravitz is rich so he can dedicate 4-6 hours everyday to work out.

diet is the fuel for the car lol. Ultimately this entire convo is idiotic because it boils down to goals

Right, it boils down to goals. Exercise is great for strength, muscle/aesthetics, energy, mental health and staying sharp as people age out of their 40s.

Exericse alone isn't effective for fat loss as it's tremendously difficult to maintain a caloric deficit through exercise on a consistent basis, assuming no regards to diet.

But a person that focuses on diet and maintains a diet will always lose weight, so dieting is a surer bet for fat loss than exercise, but not necessarily the fastest or healthiest method in comparison to resistance training/cardio + diet.

On paper exercise and dieting are the best combo for fat loss. But the reality is they are two completely separate habits to build and maintain for lifelong health and fitness.

There really shouldn't be a thread for something so obvious.

Also, exercising makes you want to eat more and leaves you dehydrated and tired. All of which increases your appetite and further makes it difficult to maintain and control your diet.

How will you be in "amazing shape" if you don't do any type of exercise?

Exercises improves your cardiovascular conditioning, stamina, makes your heart healthier and stronger, you rid your body of toxins when you sweat etc.

dieting definitely loses weight easier
i usually gain pounds from exercising (weight training) but i think the bodacious look is worth it.
i guess it depends on what look you going for

A good diet will have you seeing the results of exercise quicker and exercise overall helps combat a bad diet.

If you’re not trying to look “shredded” and just maintain that flab you already have, exercise is best.

But ultimately, you can’t outwork a bad diet

The keto diet >>>>
It’ll get weight off but I don’t recommend it... not how a lot of ppl do it anyway. I feel like some folks go overboard. But I’m eating cleaner and keeping a food diary and by the last month of my “diet” I plan to limit my carbs a lot more... but not to keto extremes bc i like not being constipated lol

Can brehs list some meal plans?

Like what y'all meals looking like.

Salmon?

Beef in moderation?

I'm tryna lose the gut so

-cardio
-cut out sugar

-cut out carbs or limit carbs? :patrice:

The only thing I drink is water with slices of lemon and cucumber (stored in a pitcher)

For breakfast I have steel cut oatmeal made with sugar free almond milk with added granola chunks for better texture. (I don't add fruit cause of sugar) I've been using honey which is also not great so I'm cutting that out

I rarely eat afternoons maybe walnuts/peanuts

Work out

Then eat baked salmon with broccoli I cook myself (you can use low calorie marinades for the salmon) also I eat a whole avocado
To not spike my mercury levels I bake chicken breasts in between for a couple of days....I used these stuffed chicken breasts with veggies inside again whole avacado

For snacks Chabani greek yogurt to peanuts/walnut

Im staying way from bread, rice, pasta, soda juice
