I was JUST about to make a thread centered around this same topic... good lookin

if i need to get some quick sales for a product i'm selling (dropshipping, personal, affiliate, etc) i'll just make a quick facebook page, share and upload some videos centered around that specific niche to add more value to it, make a post with a mockup for the product, boost the post for like $5 and make some quick profit while spending peanuts... and once you get sales you can find out what demographics are spending money with you and do advanced targeting.... this is just one way that works for me but there's a bunch of approaches

what im REALLY tryna do now is get my Pinterest game tight...if you got any links, book suggestions or people i should follow post those up asap

Ive decided to attempt to try shopify again and use aliexpress and oberlo...i saw a post on oberlo and now understand about how to find the products on aliexpress that sell the most...

right now the biggest issue with me is marketing.

i don't have personal social medias. just have random pages to lurk and see what is going on.

but anyway the whole facebook boosting thing...ive seen it before and wanted to ask you if that really does work? cause after i discovered oberlo i think the other shyt im good with but i really hate to waste money on marketing if it don't work..even if its just $5...i wanna wake up to see hundreds of my product being bought and me getting over 1000 dollars

i found some pages that list good niches to try...some obvious ones are phone cases

i was thinking about fiverr but i don't know who to trust when every damn person on there has 5 star ratings which i know it can't be accurate for everyone

any advice breh?

unfortunately you're going to have to test a lot to find what works. I'd suggest to start with adwords since you can target keywords with commercial intent but I'm unsure if the aliexpress dropshipping model gives you enough margin to be profitable with adwords

Struggling to find work/job and have a degree in Graphic Design
You can try designing landing pages/banners for affiliate marketers, it'll keep you busy. go on their forums/facebook groups and offer your services.

Just finished a Udemy course on Google Analytics as well as a course on Instagram marketing. Both were good courses that I'd recommend if someone is new on the scene.

I've got the bug right now, currently taking a course on Copywriting (how to pitch your message better when you write ads/IG Posts/etc) and then I am taking a course on Canva.com. Canva lets you create some pretty great graphics for free or cheap and I have been using it for my IG company to step up the marketing a bit.

Just finished the Udemy course on Canvas I was taking. One new feature I didn't know about until the course is that Canva lets you design and post a free website. It will be hosted under their URL but there aren't any intrusive banners or watermarks. Great for quickly throwing up an event or promotion as a short term solution.

Anyone still making any decent money doing this as a side hustle? I feel like this industry changes significantly every year so I wouldn’t even know where to start to try to build a 2nd stream of income.

There are two ways of going about it

market your own product, or market someone else's

What niches do you speak to well?

I`m in the Software industry but on the Product side, and the development side is the part thats wide open when it comes to remote roles. I eventually want to do my own thing business wise, but have been thinking about picking up UX skills to maybe do some side work or flip that into consulting paired with my Product Management background. When I try to read up on the Digital Marketing stuff majority of the people giving "advice" are just trying to sell you their course lol.

Wouldn’t say I speak it well at all but white labeling small non-electronic consumer goods. It just seems like amazon has a stranglehold on everything in the market.
