Traffic Source + Sell Product, Service, or Attention

  • Traffic Sources: SEO( organic search), Social media, paid ads (google / social media), email lists
  • Product: Create your own product for a niche market, and use copywriting to create a sales page
  • Service: Sell your own services, can be from anything in graphic design to paid advertising to writing to whatever else you can do for $XX - XXX per hour rates
  • Attention: Affiliate marketing, banners, adsense and stuff like that - people click on banners and you get paid a cut


Digital Marketing Career:

Honestly freelancing is the way to go. if you have a college degree in whatever and have some freelance projects in your porfolio - go to upwork.com, create an account, and bid on freelance job opportunities - thats enough. I learned SEM / PPC from youtube videos, put it to practice, went to upwork, freelanced, got a freelance position in real life too...

Put that on my resume, started applying to digital marketing jobs, they invited me in for interviews. Spoke more confidently about google adwords than many other cats who already had jobs with digital marketing agencies... got the job.
