Dipset getting exposed appreciation thread

If it wasn't for Santana the carnage would have been even more obvious

Word? I thought Santana made things worse for Dipset. A few moments really stand out.

• He forgot the hook to Welcome to New York City. Imagine being on a legendary song dedicated to New York prevailing after 9/11, with only FOUR bars to memorize, and you can't even do it.
• He told Jada that they didn't have any lady-friendly records, which set up the alley oop for 6 back to back joints from The Lox, and allowed Jada to hit him with the "we got Grammy's and ya'll got grams" line.
• He got his bandana taken off his head and thrown on the floor by Jada
• He didn't even rap any of the words on S.A.N.T.A.N.A. He basically just stood there and let the song play while Freaky danced to it. Jim Jones rhymed more words from Juelz's single than Juelz did.

I'm sure there were more moments, but Juelz was embarrassing and looked like he didn't wanna be there.

Nope Jada is a flame spitter...However Hit for Hit I'd take Cam'ron but in a battle I'd take Jada if that makes sense.

I like both but Cam got by on swag and style moreso than bars. He can rap when he wants but he tries to get by on swag too much. On a pure rapping level, he’s a tier below Jada. Honestly, Dipset as a whole can’t see The Lox in rapping. Styles is a better rapper than Cam too. Sheek ain’t better than Cam but he’s better lyrically than Jim and Juelz. So it’s a no brainer. You got 2 high grade rappers and 1 good rapper vs. 1 good rapper and his group members who are more style than substance.

U can seee last night compare and contrast lox is all about bars and shyt, dips minus cam were all beats and production but even then cam would kno he had a hot beat so was lazy and spit that loonie goonie toonie bullshyt

That's your opinion....Dipset had anthems...The Lox best stuff was legit stuff that Jada or Styles were only featured on....Now bar for bar as rappers Lox got it....Making music that people wanted to hear that weren't just from the east coast Dipset.....Dipset was a whole culture changer damn near.
