I thought Vince was high on NXT itself.

The lead writer for NXT was called up to smackdown.

Nobody does shyt bro. WHo is doing anything?

By that logic when Austin came in as the ringmaster, or Dwayne as Rocky Miavia they were flops. nikkas have to build up, they are NEW WRESTLERS. Owens is doing great. He's booked strong as hell and gets tons of mic time. Now his credibility is being used to give Zayn a rub. This all takes time.

And I know it sounds cute to say hes just giving Trips something to do, but it seems as if hes grooming him to take over his lifes work after he dies. Seems more realistic to me.:yeshrug: Not like Trips is his son in law or anything.:ohhh:

Vince pretty clearly didn't see anything in Austin early on. Vince wanted Rocky to be a star and clearly thought the blue-chipper thing would get over and it didnt.

Whether these guys eventually come up and become stars is a completely different thing from whether Vince McMahon actually ever gives them the chance to be. Vince is a lot more stubborn now than he was back in the day. If an Austin came up today he might never get the chance to shine like he did in 97.

The Blue chipper thing got over, they tweaked and evolved it till it fit. People rarely if ever work exactly how they come in. Most wrestlers are around for years before they pop.

Vince knows he needs new bodies. He didnt make a BILLION dollars being stupid. Im sure he loves NXT. He may not understand it, but he will bend to make that dough. His concern is the bottom line.

Neville deserves so much better. He's arguably the most talented in ring performer they have available at the moment, with all the injuries they currently have, yet he's involved in nothing meaningful....sad sad shyt honestly.

Neville is dope. I was watching him on Smackdown and thinking, this guy is really fukking good, and he did great on the mic as well. If he doesnt get injured I think he will break through.

Rocky had time to tweak and evolve because Vince saw stardom in hime right away. That's the difference between a guy he sees potential in and a guy he sees no potential in (Tyler Breeze for example).

New bodies? They've been running the same dudes out there for 10-15 years (Cena/Orton/Kane/Show/Ziggler), there's not A LOT of room or creative to be adding a bunch of new guys. I'm sure Vince can look at NXT and see 1 or 2 guys he might see star potential in (maybe Crews), the rest are just bodies to fill out a roster, judging by the ones that have come up so far.

Gotta let these dudes cook. Its not all about the Main Event, Main Belt etc. There is a whole team. You can be a great contributor at any level. So to say Vince doesnt see anything in these guys is asinine. It's different levels of money in all these guys.

People really put to much stock into fake belts and ring times and shyt. Thats like going to the circus and saying "yo this Lion Tamer is really good he needs a push, why is the Elephant going on Last!?!" I always looked at wrestling like a play or a opera. Its all ONE big Main Event, different slots and attractions. Flippy shyt, Brawling, Titties, Tall Guys, Comedy Guys, etc. It's all just parts to a machine. Vince knows that.

Theyre performers and they all can find a comfortable spot. And make different levels of cash for the company. Vince eating off Naomi's T shirt as well as Cena's. It's all cash in the pot. You never know who that break out superstar will be. He knows that. He might be out of touch and stubborn. But that nikka aint stupid. He knows hes gonna need new wrestlers. Thats common sense.

Every wrestler tweaked and evolved. Cena says he was a few weeks away from being fired before he changed his gimmick and got hot. So that potential argument is kinda off.

Road Dogg is legend. He started as The Roadie. Became one of the most popular wrestlers in wrestlings hottest era.

Billy Gun was Rockabilly... managed by the Honky Tonk Man.

Kane was the fake Diesel. I could go on and on with these examples.

How long were Jeff and Matt Hardy jobbers?!?! They tweaked, and they evolved. Thats the nature of the business.

not pointing at you, but that's why I told you all, a brand split is needed. Too many talents get lost in the vacuum of one storyline.

:ohhh::jbhmm:So Cokeboy doesn't care for NXT but he continues to let Hunter bring in top Indy talent
Something is not adding up. Is Cokeboy treating NXT like Dixie father treats TNA.

DWAYNE IS A SIX FOOT SEVEN SAMOAN ON THE JUICE, BROTHER! THESE IRISH MIDGETS IN NXT DON'T HAVE THOSE ATTRIBUTES, DUDE!
Rocky came out as a good guy with a goofy look at first. They wanted him to be family this and that.....that's what Vince wanted for him. And even when he got big, they tried to derail him with Rock and Sock while they pushed Austin vs Cripple H but the fans weren't having that $hit at that point.

Everytime someone from NXT comes up, they end up as losers except for Roman Reigns and the Shield group that was designed to protect his flaws.

You're getting mixed up between guys having roles in the company, or being someone Vince sees as a star.

What Diamond Dave reported is that Vince doesn't like NXT cause he doesn't see many money-drawing stars. Now does that mean they can't have a 10-year career in a Billy Gunn role? Of course not, but it means that they aren't gonna come up and get that hands on Vince rocket push treatment.
