Y'all hate Vince this much to believe this bull.![]()

People need to realize that, ironic as it sounds, Vince McMahon has NEVER been a big fan of wrestling. He's a fan of machismo. He's a fan of fukkery and old school carny shows. He's a fan of big muscled men flexing on stage. He's a fan of money, but not at the expense of the other things. And the actual wrestling? He can take it or leave it.
Vince's real passion was the World Bodybuilding Federation, and when that failed, he just turned the wrestling federation into the WBF. He was owner and CEO and put himself on commentary to control everything, and he never even bothered learning the names of the wrestling moves.
So yeah, NXT is basically the opposite of everything he's always loved about the business.

Folks in here talking trash about the New Age Outlaws? Man their intro got more pops than anyone else in DX.
They sold more merchandise than anyone else in DX during that era too.

they are some of the most over cats on the roster. if they r getting tepid responses. what tag team is more popular?
As a group, D-Generation X was incredibly popular and one of the major acts of the Attitude Era. Within that group, The New Age Outlaws were even more popular. The WWE has stated that Road Dogg and Billy Gunn were considered the most popular duo of the era. The merchandise sales back that up, as they were the
third best seller of merch, only trailing Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Rock. That’s pretty impressive company.
Gotta let these dudes cook. Its not all about the Main Event, Main Belt etc. There is a whole team. You can be a great contributor at any level. So to say Vince doesnt see anything in these guys is asinine. It's different levels of money in all these guys.
People really put to much stock into fake belts and ring times and shyt. Thats like going to the circus and saying "yo this Lion Tamer is really good he needs a push, why is the Elephant going on Last!?!" I always looked at wrestling like a play or a opera. Its all ONE big Main Event, different slots and attractions. Flippy shyt, Brawling, Titties, Tall Guys, Comedy Guys, etc. It's all just parts to a machine. Vince knows that.
Theyre performers and they all can find a comfortable spot. And make different levels of cash for the company. Vince eating off Naomi's T shirt as well as Cena's. It's all cash in the pot. You never know who that break out superstar will be. He knows that. He might be out of touch and stubborn. But that nikka aint stupid. He knows hes gonna need new wrestlers. Thats common sense.
Every wrestler tweaked and evolved. Cena says he was a few weeks away from being fired before he changed his gimmick and got hot. So that potential argument is kinda off.
Road Dogg is legend. He started as The Roadie. Became one of the most popular wrestlers in wrestlings hottest era.
Billy Gun was Rockabilly... managed by the Honky Tonk Man.
Kane was the fake Diesel. I could go on and on with these examples.
How long were Jeff and Matt Hardy jobbers?!?! They tweaked, and they evolved. Thats the nature of the business.
They have NEVER gotten tepid responses once they got over with the crowd. As soon as Big E's voice is heard for the intro, the crowd gets hyped.
