Hes watching what might be the death of his family line. If he doesn't have another child, that one turning out gay is the final chapter of a history spanning several generations.
That is one of the things that motivated hatred of gay people in the past. The fact that their unions only resulted in pleasure for both parties involved and no child was produced from it. It just seemed like a hedonistic self centered lifestyle. Obviously things have changed now with gay men using IVF to have children with their DNA in it with a female donor that they vet for hereditary conditions and mental health problems etc or adopting.
But you cant get rid of a primal fear like that so you see it in his face. He's angry, hes depressed, and he knows whatever he does won't make his child change. If that boy is gay, hes either going to be open about it or hide it but it's a bell that can't be un-rung.
If you can afford it, have more than one child and if your kid is gay, the best thing you can do is make sure that they still take in good values and don't end up like one of those gay people whose entire identity is built upon their gayness. They're good friends, they respect you as a parent, will be there for you when you need them without question, they're responsible, they stay out of trouble and live a productive and happy life. They represent your best hopes for them despite the fact that they have no attraction to women. Id much rather have a son that isn't an irritant to others or a social menace than a demon that just happens to not be gay.

Believe it or not, but a lot of kids are easily influenced and tend to gravitate towards the things and mimic the lifestyle they're most exposed to. I grew up in the hood as a young kid, bet you couldn't believe how many of those kids aspired to be dope boys and gangsters. I moved to the suburbs and guess what? A lot of kids wanted to be that because of what they saw on TV, a lot of kids wanted to be athletes because of people like a Michael Jordan or Kobe or name any big time athlete. Hell I swore up and down one day I'd be Spiderman. So interject all of this gay shyt into kids shows and guess what? We got more gay and gender fluid people than I have ever seen in my entire life.

I say this respectfully, the perspective from your entire life doesn’t mean squat to the entire global history. Gay people have always existed and now that the world says it’s ok for them to come out of hiding because they are creating safe spaces for them you think there’s an epidemic of gays coming out of nowhere?
You don't see a difference between a male child wanting to be rich or tough and being gay? 2 of those are what almost every young male wants to be and the other is something that will get you ridiculed, shunned, and called a fakkit all of the time. There is a lot of brehs who don't put context into their thinking, the world doesn't exist in a vacuum of the moment. There is context for everything
