How can u be future proof with a Microsoft Gaming console when they will clearly abandon the console if they lose again, they abandoned OG Xbox... and now Xbox One will get the same treatment but you won't say its abandoned because your old games play in your new Xbox Scorpio ...but try to play Scorpio GAMES on Xbox One or the Scorpio VR games on one and

Meanwhile PS4 VR plays on PS4 PRO and PS4 and Pro games play on Ps4..because its a upgrade and not a forced console reboot..

The X one had blunders but the entire move of Scorpio is predicated on making sure an XOne owners investment regarding software is not for naught and they'll be protected from a divided online experience.

I'm copping the Scorpio but my gear of not being able to hand with my circle who won't be as proactive and decide to stay on X1/X1S will not be prohibited from gaming with me.

Matter fact my previous assertion that they are prepping Xbox live cross play to include an ecosystem encompassing Scorpio/PC UWP/X1 is the move that is the complete opposite of abandonment.

The game library argument is absolutely valid. I wasn't trying to trivialize it. I was indicating those that were so enthusiast about shytting on the leaked specs would probably ignore how stupid their first impression was and just jump.on the game library argument to save face.

Can I ask, though (forgive me if inappropriate in this thread) but for a player who cares specifically about multiplayer games, is Sony's exclusives still a strong counter to MSFT?

Those single ayer experiences on PS4 look intriguing but as far as multi... It hasn't been crazy tempting. Maybe I'm not paying enough attention.

I've invested into the X1 but most of my investment is in software. So, my biggest investment is protected.

The biggest draw? The multiplayer so, my great multi experience on Scorpio will be protected too.

I will probably get a Scorpio but honestly I'm happy I skipped the Xbox One and Xbox One S.. I don't know why Xbox fanboys are so excited, I clearly stated in the past that Xbox Scorpio was not a Xbox upgrade of Xbox One. But entirely a new Console because Xbox One failed.
Now I will pop the bubble again, Xbox Scorpio will indeed play Xbox One games, but Xbox One or Xbox One s won't be able to play Xbox Scorpio games or Xbox Scorpio VR headset. So the factor is that Sony made a upgrade system because Ps4 Pro and Ps4 both support as a upgrade because it is more unified, but Xbox One fan's will get the bad news when they find out that Xbox One won't play Xbox Scorpio and the Xbox One brand is R.I.P .. so basically you got a Xbox One S that will be DOA but your new Console will play the games.. meanwhile Sony didn't force the next Gen console war's ...so Ps5 will be more powerful then Scorpio also because in chess they didn't rush the system and force themself in a Nintendo bind.

You could never say Ps4 Pro failed because it's a PS4 beefed up.. but Xbox Scorpio is a new Console that plays the old games.. which can fail? I think the real losers is the people who purchased the Xbox One S this year? lol

You're full of shyt. Scorpio will be an iterative upgrade. All games (outside of VR titles) will be backward compatible, but will have a downgraded performance on weaker systems. Furthermore, Scorpio will support VR, something the Xbox One can't do. Its going to be similar the the PS4/PS4Pro setup Sony has. Only better....
