And if you are black and this is starting to dawn on you as an adult.... where the fukk were you? luckily , I got my lesson as a pre teen at 11, 12 years old. The shyt is too real out here to just wake up at 20.

So basically.... if they didn't wake up at 11 or 12 like you..... you would prefer if they never did?

I joke with my family how they're becoming pro black and I'm becoming least....I'm past the irrational anger stage, I'm in the acceptance and how can I move around it to get whatever i need stage

What I said flew over your head. There were many people talking about this shyt before it was cool. Many such as myself. They weren't doing it to be cool and shyt. That was reality. There was no stripes for basically having empathy and giving a fukk about injustice and wrong shyt.

It irks me that it takes a hashtag or seeing people who probably don't or wouldn't give a shyt if it wasn't cool trying to be on this shyt. Case in point, all the people that are saying black lives matter when a black man gets killed but scared to talk about the systematic discrimination, slavery, the concept of race and basically scared to go deep. It's basically some superficial shyt.

Exactly, that's my point. It's all superficial for half of these folks saying that shyt. There are some that are becoming aware and are genuine about this shyt. They are willing to go deep but many are not because they don't want to go beyond acknowledging systematic racism besides police shootings and how they view black people and challenge their way of thinking. shyt encourages people to be real with themselves but folks are trying to still be comfortable and content with the shyt by taking on a symptom of a disease.
