Movie was straight watched it with my girl. We both wanted giuseppe to pop up at the end and save the day.

It's a fun flick.

I took that scene where dude "outs himself" and Luca then turns on him as something about gayness. But the movie works fine without that perspective as well

The creators have said that it wasn't their intention to symbolize gayshyt, even if they welcome it.

The whole movie is a metaphor for coming out gay. Since this is pride month, the reviews are gonna make it seem like a Pixar classic, but it’s basically the little mermaid for lgbtq. Not hating though.
