it didn't have an agenda but a lot of people thought it did when it came out. What is the story on that because my kids loved frozen and Let it go was huuuge. Didnt know it had a LGBTQ push behind it too
Some people thought Elsa was gay and her powers were an allegory for coming out
so the song let it go was considered a coming out song to the LGBT community.
the reason this works is because you'll only feel that way if you're gay. if you're not it's just a song about her using her powers for the first time. so it flies over kids heads
here are two articles from 2014 that discuss this
Why Frozen's Let It Go is more than a Disney hit – it's an adolescent aperitif
The Oscar-winning track has become an LGBT anthem, YouTube parody and feminist freedom call. But for Dorian Lynskey, it's the sound of his daughter's burgeoning independence
Outside the film, Let It Go is also a coming-out anthem for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people: “Conceal don’t feel, don’t let them know/ Well now they know!” The lines “It’s funny how some distance/ Makes everything seem small/ And the fears that once controlled me/ Can’t get to me at all” could almost be from an It Gets Better video. “I was really excited to write an anthem that said, ‘Screw fear and shame, be yourself, be powerful,’” said Anderson-Lopez.
Disney's Frozen and the 'gay agenda'
A right-wing radio host says the hit animated film "indoctrinates" young women to be lesbians, while some in the LGBT community claim a character as one of their own.
and then one in 2019 saying they should just have Elsa be gay which I think they shouldn't
Why Elsa from Frozen is a queer icon — and why Disney won’t embrace that idea
The queen of Arendelle might have been accidentally coded queer in Frozen, but Frozen 2 goes all in. Kinda.

The gay kid was a marketing tool, and this "look we got a gay person" marketing is not working.
