Dispelling the myth: Black girls are not attracted to "thugs" or "bad boys"

Its always been stated that Black women date thug nikkas young and settle down with squares, thats where alot of the angst from these Coli folk come from.

I'll tell you why...

It's a myth that the masses of black women out here are feigning for men. The media has talked about "black women are single" for so long that SOME men feel black women will simply settle for any damn thing when in reality that is far from the truth. I will tell you what I've noticed about black women...

1). A lot of black women ARE actually content to be alone.

2). A lot of black women are driven and motivated to get an education and money (this is especially true amongst my generation).

3). A lot of black women don't want children.

4). A lot of black women (and I'm being honest when I say this) don't find black men in their age group attractive.

5). A lot of black women refuse to settle. This goes back to my previous comment about black women not desiring men we find unattractive.

6). A lot of black women (and I'm guessing this might be due to witnessing the ish their mothers went through) are skeptical about love, marriage etc.

Truthfully this list could go on and on.

People adapt to their environment.

Black women have it harder than other races of women. It's only natural that we would be harder to attract, impress and please. People who have been dealt heavy blows in life often cannot afford to dream and we certainly are more skeptical about life. This goes toward the advances of men...especially when one considers the motives of men (read: black men) isn't "pure"...alot (and probably most) of the time.

These men might want a girlfriend, but they sure as hell aren't thinking about LONG term commitment most of the time.

I've been around these men ALL my life. What they are waiting for is this...

They are waiting for the day that their money grows so they can pull Megan Good, who otherwise is repulsed by them.

or they are waiting for this...

A non-black woman to see their "earning" potential and give them some affection.

or they are waiting for this...

Their money to grow so they can just phuck around with women who otherwise wouldn't give them the time of day.

They aren't checking for the EQUALLY corny black girls who may be interested in them. Those girls are ugly and asexual to them (yes, I've actually heard this from the horse's mouth)

They create myths like this one (black women like thugs) to explain why black women they find sexually desirable don't want them, while they ignore their black corny female counterpart.

^^^That's what the game looks like. It doesn't look like this one-sided argument you're trying to make in which corny (which you try to equate to good) ready to settle down, early 20 something year old brothers are being overlooked, ridiculed and bypassed for Tyrone.

Instead it looks like this...

Mira likes Steve Urkel. Steve Urkel only has eyes for Laura. Laura only has eyes for Stevan. Steve Urkel claims Laura only likes thugs because she doesn't like him. Rather than date Mira, who is a nice girl with a good head on her shoulders, Steve becomes obsessed with Laura.
