The tutorial for this game is not good. Even after going through both basic and advanced tutorials more than once it doesn't make the matches any less chaotic. The poorly designed HUD doesn't help things either. I'm fairly used to games where you have to actively switch targets so I cannot imagine how someone who isn't is trying to adapt to what's going on.

Matching takes a while, and some people lag unforgivably. I am not fond of getting matched up with people with potato connections. The game also seems to freeze after matches when it says "waiting for party members" and it's been doing this a lot. For some reason not all HP skills gained in

Some of the characters like Sephiroth and Jecht seem to require strong fundamentals to use, but the game doesn't explain the basics well enough for beginners to try and take full advantage of it. This game rewards spazzing out.

Still there is a certain satisfaction breaking people off with the bosses like Emperor, Jecht Garland, Kuja and Kefka. Doesn't seem like it's worth $60 though, $40 but not $60.

The lagging has literally affected everybody, except for Japan and possibly Korea. The lag screws up the fighting increasing the possibility of losing. The targeting is a major issue especially if all the opposing team is very close to you, the developers need to really sort that shyt out.

The dashing mechanic is fukking dumb, it looks and feels dumb. Floating around like a Gundam or some shyt and it's slow af on top of that.... they could've thought of something better or have certain characters with different movement skills, wall jumping or w/e.

I'm tempted to get this but I can't stand having a backlog. I played a lot of duodecim back in the day.

Will get this when it hits $20.
Played the demo. It felt like Psychic Force 2020 except with more players at a time.
This game will do tin foil numbers in the states.
It's first week sales in Japan outsold SFV and MVC. But I agree this game will sell not as much in the states. Damn I thought I was the only one that thought this game felt like psychic force the only thing is missing was breaking the wall barrier after the final round. Dissidia kinda felt like Destrega another game that was developed by Koei and it also felt like Evil Zone.

They are similar in terms of gameplay for instance on Evil Zone you can easily side-step left or right to avoid attacks in Dissida NT it also makes use of side stepping, they both have a similar fighting system that utilizes two main buttons, attack and guard although Dissida NT uses the locking on system, dashing function, Jump button and Ex skills(Attack for some characters) lastly Evil Zone has Short range, Mid Range and Long range characters.
