I said that pages ago lol pretty much everyone agrees he's top 10-15 yet they make these random threads . No argument is going to change the other sides opinion but also no one is saying melo is best player in the league . This is the exact same thread that's Been made several times . But my main problem is the hypocrites arguing against Melo don't check the haters who say josh smith gonna win a ring , melo has no skills etc. you have a guy from Atlanta avxl freshfromatl etc hating adding nothing but he's fat and lazy . The guy clearly isn't fat ( he Wears body armor under his jersey so he can absorb the punishment attacking the basket , I don't think most Knicks fans know that ) hes in the Olympics for the third time how can you call him lazy ? : troll: ass provide nothing

Exactly . People actually made a thread saying broy is better than melo . Saying klove , josh smith monta Ellis joe Johnson better than melo . I think people just enjoyed NYC losing so they hate that they tried to put together a team. Before melo went to the Knicks I never saw all this melo hate . They say he's irrelevant but make threads about him seasons been over months .
I guess they saw some non-Knick fans saying if melo plays like how he is in the Olympics the Knicks could be good and got angry .

Melo I'd say has another 5 years or so of playing at a high level(if he keeps his weight in check)...so unless the Knicks were to aquire a top tier PG like Paul who can get Melo the ball in spots where he can use his strengths and make easy buckets...I dont see the Knicks getting past the 2nd round with him as their top gun and having the entire offense run through him, while JR Smith being the supplemental option...its destined to fail.

That has a lot to do with it. Melo gets passes from a lot of fans and media folks a like because everyone in NY pretty much knows someone that went to Cuse. Pretty much every media person in the NY market is a Syracuse grad. The National Title will forever be attached(with good reason) to Melo's career. That's still his most notable accomplishment.
Notice this Bernie Fine thing got thrown in the bushes by the media too...but thats a whole other story
