Many blacks don't know how to deal with police. Treat every police encounter as potentially hostile. Never argue excessively or try to reason with them cause they are not your friends. pick your battles wisely, showing ID is not a battle worth fighting in the street with cop over.

I don't have bad experiences with them and I've actually been arrested for dirt I have done. For instance once I was caught in a trap house after they kicked the door in. I didn't get shot or my ass beat while other suspects did.

The main thing is KEEP YOUR fukkING MOUTH SHUT! Say as little as possible. You're not going to talk your way out of arrest...unless you're one of their informants (as someone in the trap was).

You start with the "what did I do....tell me the crime" shyt, trying to lie....or tell the truth. Shut up and let THEM do the talking. You aren't trained in law so you don't een know when you've messed up. The guy in the video didn't know to ask was he being detained.

Your face should be as emotionless as possibke, put your game face on. Get all out your feelings and save that rah rah shyt for nikkas on the block.

Now, until nikkas start showing police we willing to die for ours, they won't change a thing. Police see us as leopards and they're the lions. Lions know they're too organized for leopards who are solitary.

When nikkas start waking officers out their sleep on some "Let's have that SAME talk NOW and show me that SAME cockiness you had earlier!" See they're not facing any consequences for violating nikkas. People don't change until they are held accountable, and the justice system won't do this.

Personally I do not find cops trying to do their jobs as disrespectful to me?
If I was in that guy's situation (from op video), I would have simply apologize and showed them whatever ID they asked for. They likely would have remained cool and the situation would not escalate.

Again cops have a very tough job and it is integral to their safety and the safety of the people that they demand respect.
You get out of line or no abide by the cops direct orders. Get ready to be treated with hostile force.
That's how it should be.
I'm not in no way saying all cops are perfect and certain cops do not abuse their power. What I'm saying is most cops are great people.
When a cop ask me to do something I don't see it as being less than a child.

Although the men in the car were foul-mouthed, they could hardly be described to have been acting in an aggressive manner.

Katz asserted that the men were deemed a threat because they weren’t displaying an appropriate level of “fear” towards the officers, stating, “When I watch this video, I don’t see a car full of young men who are behaving in a manner consistent with fear of the police.”

The men had apparently done nothing to arouse suspicion in the first place.
