When I say couldn’t reach success I’m including all co-signs like lil wayne and cash money. The point being that Drake is so corny and awkward around the culture but we’re willing to look past it due to his association with artists/rappers with credibility.

There’s a reason the whole industry including artists from his city like The Weeknd and Tory lanez have dissed him at some point. In my opinion, without co-signs, drake would have went the backpack rap/little brother route. Drake is just not a likable person. Notice how not one artist has spoken up to defend drake. The problem I have with Drake is the way he runs his label as a sweatshop. That's different from him hopping on a SexyRedd song or whatever else which is fine. Drake has a decades long history of signing or trying to sign Canadian artists, taking their best songs/demos/ideas, and then letting them write shyt for him in the OVO sweatshops while he reaps the benefits. He convinced Weeknd to give him damn near half his album and tried to sign him to a slave deal. Weeknd said fukk that and signed elsewhere. Then he signed Party and a host of other r&b centric artists and took their best songs and/or made them write for him. Then he signed Makonnen, took his hit single, and left him to rot after Makonnen's old tweets about Drake got leaked. Just a few months ago he signed 4batz after hopping on his track, took his shyt, and didn't promote the album at all.

Drake been doing that lame shyt since 2010/2011. Labels and managers are constantly sending Drake shyt in hopes that he takes it. I don't mean hopping on a song with somebody on another label...I mean outright takes the song (and pays the manager a finder's fee). THAT is vulture shyt.

I agree with all of this. But the Canadian rappers ain't the one hopping on the stage screaming "Not Like Us". It's all the nikkas who broke bread wit son and enabled him all these years. And Kanye has violated FAR more than Drake. Him flat out saying he used the backpack nikkas was OD violation. Yet Noone calls him a vulture. They just make excuses for Mr "slavery was a choice" and "white lives matter". He gets called a genius. Bottom line is people don't keep the same energy and I don't feel bad for none of these rap nikkas.

I think we generally agree but dunno how you view this part. If I have a Drake issue beyond the Canadian jacking it's what I said a few days ago. It's bigger than just features, he rides waves and imitates regional black artists. First it was Houston shyt, then it was Jamaican/Caribbean accents, then it was UK/grime, etc etc etc. All while jacking their outfits, slang, accents, everything. Even trying to buy or imitate unique jewelry from other artists. That Family Matters video had the Pharrell chain, the G-Unit chain, and Pac's ring. That shyt HAS to be weird to ya'll right? It's vulture shyt in my eyes and is what Not Like Us is about. Hell if we take it beyond that to hoes...the way he tries to sleep with everyone's girl, or DM everyone's girls...that shyt all ties in together to me.

Is Kanye a vulture....I can't say that. I just don't believe what he said about backpack shyt. I think he's mentally ill and believed he could mock/hurt Talib by saying that shyt.
