For all the big names and talent, money involved in production, none of this really works for me. It always feels manufactured and cliched, overdone. This all feels like a reworking of every other Khaled album, and maybe some of this will work for audiences who weren't listening in 2007 or 200, but this is very tired and trite, like the PG-13 version of rap.

I guess I'm older at 33, and so, I recognize the sample on the Meek joint as being from Sigel's 2001 album, which is a classic song, and this doesn't come close to that, and I fukk with Meek, heavy.

The SZA track is probably among the strongest, it sounds inspired and fresh, as opposed to going through the motions.

I can't explain how pissed off I am at that intro :stopitslime:

How you have all them GOAT's on there and produce that trash :stopitslime:
Facts and the sample was the sample SIR used on his joint and bodied. He should have used something else.

Shake also was not needed on that song.

"I had no Damon Dash, my partners was maniacs, wish I had a Damon, I woulda been straighter with that shyt, no Puff, I had crack sellers to trust, no Suge, not even Harry-O"

Nas murdered those verses, and on first listens I find, the hook over the top, and overdone, but Nas is so nice on those verses. Flow is 100% in pocket on this, and he's speaking about his career with the kind of clarity, and hindsight, opinions, that we so badly need from the elder statesmen of the game. Esp. that second verse.

I liked the SZA track over Ms. Jackson :leon:

Nipsey track was cool until John Legend fukked it up :camby:

Meek and Baby track is hard :ehh:

Jersey and Ross track is nice, Big Sean track coo, that Breezy/Wayne/Sean track is so god damn generic

Overall a typical mid Khaled album
