He made beats under the name Beat Novacane, now hes more of a traditional producer (sample choices, song topics, hook ideas, feature choices)

For the people who doubt Khaled makes beats - have y'all ever made a beat before? Making beats isn't that hard once you learn the equipment. Now whether or not the beats are any good is another question.

I started making beats in high school and I wasn't some kind of musical savant. And that was before a lot of these computer programs and YouTube tutorials (or YouTube period) were around.

true but i'd imagine there's some level of expertise involved in making the beats that wind up on khaled's albums as they're all highly polished and overproduced. this is all besides the point of the thread anyway, which isn't how difficult it is for khaled to make beats but if he even makes beats in the first place.

here is the thing, if Khaled couldnt use the MPC, at this point it would have come out, especially from dudes like cuban link who do scorched earth type shyt. all of the beats i heard by khaled are by the numbers MPC stuff. i see no reason why he cant do that. that beat on the terror squad album "nothin gonna stop me" was hard as fukk

I can almost guarantee you since this thread been made, people have looked for videos to show me that he has been seen making beats....except it ain’t none. like most producers after they been in the game for a while he probably hasnt made a beat in over a decade think he mainly engineers and coordinates for his albums.

he’s mediocre tho and isnt a good dj either idk how he has a career

One thing thats important to remember is that some folks are legit in the know on here, im largely a nobody but i do know alot of folks. while i dont spread anyones business or put out other peoples drama, on something like this i would have gladly confirmed "ive heard from a source he doesnt" etc.

Aint no shame in admitting being wrong on something as small as this.
