Why do people do this....nikka hush. Traveling by teleportation >>> walking...that's just as relevant as what you said.

Besides, hella people who own studios know how to make beats as well. People stay trying to completely separate a lot of shyt in the industry that is interchangeable. Even on an amateur level, one of the first things an artist will as someone who makes beats is, if they record too, cause a lot of them do.

So Khaled was real good DJ back in the day but can’t figure out how to make beats? Make it make sense

Khaled was able to secure a lane that super producers of the past should have been doing. Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland kind of pioneered what Khaled does now: they made compilations featuring some of the biggest names in Hip Hop sprinkled in with artists in their respective crews. Instead of attempting to be rap artists themselves, imagine Jermaine Dupri or Timbaland taking a backseat and they did they let artists just shine over their productions. Those albums would have done monster numbers in the '00's and would possibly be viable now just based off the track record. I still feel Timbaland had an easy platinum album with Tim's Bio had he let "Lobster & Scrimp" be a solo Jay Z song and made it the first single instead of "Here We Come". Then followed "Lobster & Scrimp" with "Phat Rabbit" introducing Luda.

Same goes for JD with Instructions. Had he let "Welcome To Atlanta" featuring Ludacris be his lead single instead of "Ballin Outta Control", he would've had another platinum solo album especially if he had made the remix and instead of doing that Coast to Coast remix, he had a "Welcome To Atlanta" remix featuring Kast and Backbone. JD and the Dungeon Family never worked together and that was a missed opportunity. They weren't DF, but he could've thrown Youngbloodz on there as well especially since he later signed them.

I love me some DJ Quik music but I also can’t find one video of him on YouTube scratching and cutting on turntables. I see a few where he just playing records (and not really good at that) but where is all that dope scratching like he does in records? You would think he would at least flex his “Dj” scratching skills one time or somebody would catch him doing it at a show but nope.
