In rap music people say things that wouldn't actually work in a normal conversation in order to paint a picture. It's about presenting a particular thought pattern.

And here you are misrepresenting what he said. He never said anything about feeling bad about spending money on his mom. He said at one point in his life he thought having money was the way to avoid heartache, until he realized that it's much deeper than that, and your happiness can be taken in a split second.

Don't know if you have poor comprehension skills or you are being willfully obtuse:comeon:
Bro.

That line in particular highlights a bigger problem with J Cole.

Its fukking cringeworthy to a seasoned rap fan like myself. Because its been done by so many others, so much better.

The road less traveled.
This album is trash how do u have this many artist with this many bad songs??? How do u get j Cole to rap on that trash beat. How do French, Kodak and Jeezy make a track and its trash?? A song with jada was like a forced attempt to have a street single. This album is terrible! Only song I like is the big Sean track with 2 chainz. This album is pure trash WOW!

Sure the nas song is cool.

The Travis Scott Wayne song was awful! It's comical how he gave drama that verse and Khalid that trash verse.

Anyone who thinks this is a good album please post your fav tracks(not including the releases singles) after you post your fav tracks please post your age
