Both great felt like the doc held back a bit though.

Went with DJ, liked how everything flowed nicely from the intro all the way into the main track:wow:

Yeah I just wanted to get in something a little light with a bunch of switch-ups...I guess maybe if we had a set theme I woulda came with a heavier beat.

Both are 2 great tracks
The mix is better on docs and an mc can use that instrumental today and get a really nice record out of it.

Mart kos had the energy, but the mixing stopped it from what it could be

my vote goes to Doc
Great showcase bros.

Really dope flute sample, and snare/clap compliments it really well.
Sub-Bass goes perfect with it to.
Sample kinda reminds me of an old Tenchu video-game i used to play and i always wanted to sample that soundtrack one day!
Style kinda reminds me of a dutch producer who did some big records in my country.

Really good beat!

Yeah, a lot of people say my mixes are loud.
I would say, keep the Volume level at 50% on your computer. That's what i mix it for.
And on your Phone maybe go -2 from max loudness.

DJ took this. I really loved the sound on that. Yeah it was loud, but the overall vibe, vocal sample, melody, etc...he killed everything really. I love pianos so to hear that in this was like a bonus. This some Euro futuristic anime credit scroll sounding ass shyt lol, but it works. This shyt needs some trippy visuals for it.

Funk Doc beat was cool, mix was cleaner, but I felt like the beat needed more to it.

Dope battle:wow:

@DJ Mart-Kos I love the intro with the piano. The entire beat was very creative with a lot of variation . A better mix would take it to another level as it's a bit hard to listen to in spots where it gets too loud.

@FunkDoc1112 I like more minimalist beats so this is something I definitely fukk with. Did you use a sample because I swear I have a beat somewhere with those flutes? If you did let me know the song so I can find mine buried in all these files I have:pachaha:

This is a 50/50 battle. I really can't call it but as a personal preference I sightly lean towards Doc because his mix was better and his beat was more my speed. Both of you guys are a problem.

The song I sampled is called Tane's Dream Pt. 2 by Ryo Kawasaki. I also sampled Pt. 1 for that little intro part.
