Quik has earned the right to critique/criticize a fellow producer's work.

No one has earned the right to be 50 years old and talk about a peers wife and mother of his kids like that.
And let's get some facts straight,
1. TLOP has good reviews even classic by many, the critique it gets is that it's too misogynist and about him as a person.
2. Anyone, not only Quik has the right to critique anyones work, by the constitution. It's that extra shyt that makes his comments seem like straight hate.
If you spend 50 % of the time talking shyt about his wife and the other 50 % about the music, I've got to question your motives.

Only on the coli though, which we know from experience is the opposite of what's good in the rest of the world.
He's nice and consistent, but Kanye revolutionized the game several times and has been pushing not only hiphop but music forwards.

All I know is that I need to hear that whole DJ Quik Midnight Life album from 2014. Quik just makes great feel good music man. He can play guitar and the keys. And Suga Free is one of the funniest rappers of all time. I like Suga Free and E40's styles, they both speak on the mic. They have casual convos on the mic. I love Suga Free. Great song:

Everyone that's famous has done that, still doesn't give cats the right.
If my sister is famous, I'd not care if people said shyt about her on the internet. But if I'm in a business and we're only 150-200 people in it and someone is out putting out videos dissing my sister and her/my family, I'd knock him out specially if it was another brother. I.e. this is not a binary question, there's levels he's not a TMZ journalist. He's a 50 year old respected legend, who Kanye would give nothing but props even if he thought that he was wack for pistol whipping women or a dead beat dad.

I could see how this could be construed as hating and by standard definitions, it probably is...however, he is speaking the truth here....though i do enjoy the album and think it has it's great moments, this album is kanye just trying to be "current" and "relevant" instead of setting new trends and being a leader and pushing the genre forward....c'mon man Post Malone features?
