I like Ye's music, I even bought MBDTF but there is
no way anyone with a straight face can try to
downplay quick and big up Kanye in the same sentence.

Even if we compare them as straight rappers Ye has a hard time
messing with Quik.

Ya and also you have to keep in mind that he gets help on his beats because he's making music that one person simply couldn't make.. No artist is gonna have a broad enough skill set to compose complex orchestral harmonies, lay down an electric guitar solo, find crazy samples and then do the drums
