I think it is very impressive to run 10.37 at his size.
Very cool for DK Metcalf.

It's cool, but I'm going to keep the same energy we have when Bron says he can play WR in the NFL or one of the sprinters says he going to play in a pro sport after they win the Olympics (cough Usain Bolt cough).

In history we have seen athletes who were gifted and skilled enough to be moderately successful in a 2nd sport.
Could Lebron be an NFL WR? Possibly. Though I wouldn't expect him to be elite at both basketball and football.
The same way Deion Sanders was somewhat good at baseball but supreme at football.

I can applaud the effort of any athlete trying a 2nd sport so long as they merit the opportunity (Tim Tebow, in my opinion, did not deserve those years in the Mets minor league system).

I feel you. Just thought it was funny breh went from being outside the league to trying to be an All-star as an UDFA in an off season. :pachaha:

He did well..about 3-4 steps behind the winner. If he took a year off and trained as a sprinter he makes up at least 2 more steps and maybe 1-2 beind.

Running a 10.36 with no formal sprint training shows a lack of talent? :russ:

You are an extremely sharp one.
1.) He did train for it
2.)he was three tenths of a second off what it would take to qualify for the Olympics.
3.) having a non wind assisted PR by 3/10 of a second by an in shape, explosive adult just isn't in the realm of possibilities.

His time ranks him at 364 this year. 157 for adults.

He would need to run 10.16 to even qualify for the Olympic trials.

He's fast, but no where near the quality of an Olympic or even full time pro sprinter.

It's not a slight on him, but stop with the idiocy.

Training for it and it being your full time occupation as I'm OBVIOUSLY alluding to is something you simply don't get.

You're demeaning the sprint profession to say that a professional athlete at another sport simply training for something in their off time puts them on the level of someone who trains as their full time occupation.

You.....are....an....idiot.
