230lb men aren't supposed to crack 10.36, dude's a cyborg.

this nikka is probably carrying 15 pounds of pure muscle to play in the league and still placed :picard:

Remarkable bro

Doing that at 230 is insane... :ohhh:

This thread is just making me think how this is one of the fastest guys in the NFL, playing a position where he specifically works on his speed all the time, a guy who ran track, a guy with incredible starting speed......and he ran a 4.33 forty.

While thecoli.com will tell me over and over that much taller lanky basketball players from back in the day could run a 4.4 or a 4.38. :deadrose:

That time would have won every Olympics until 1964 and would have medaled at every Olympics (except Mexico City) until 1988.

its a new day this was the finals today, and none of these guys will finish top 3 at the trials next month:wow:. The qualifying standard for this olympics is 10.05 :damn:

Ok, but some countries were allowed to send people that didn't meet the standard and they started in the preliminaries.

Usually only half of the field qualifies based on that standard. The remaining athletes usually will qualify based on the World Athletics Rankings. Those who make it based on WAR have to race in the preliminary round which is where you get the palestines and indonesias etc :mjlol:

That basically looks exactly like the leaderboard for the 1992 100m Finals....in fact better. Top 3 all would have beat the silver medalist in 1992. I mean fukk it, they would have medaled in 2000 too!

And it's just a little qualifying race for guys who won't even make the Olympics.

Its crazy!

The guy who won today has the 5th fastest time THIS YEAR but 4 Americans are ahead of him and justin gatlin has only run once this year. And if Noah lyles decides to run the 100m that field is going to be crazy and only the top 3 make it to the olympics. And the scary thing is these guys aren't even going all out as april and early may times are usually slower than june and july once they ramp up their training
