DLSS5...aka Ai slop?

I’m conflicted. If this is using AI to alter facial features then I think that’s problematic, but is that even happening? That shot of Leon with DLSS5 looks way better than the OG imo, and lighting seems to be the only change.

I’m no tech expert, but I realize how improved a game could look depending on the lighting. Look at Marathon today vs the alpha last year. The art direction is identical but the lighting has the visuals popping in a way that wasn’t present before.

The AC: Shadows and Starfield shots look fantastic. The only comparison that I’m iffy on is Grace. It looks like most of the improvements could be from lighting, but I can see why people think there’s some kind of AI filter on there.

From what I’ve seen, the environmental enhancements look great.

Some of the facial enhancements look good in stills, but in motion looks like what you’d see on those fake AI IG thot pages that put a new face on old videos. Need to clean that up.
