Gaming has always been pricey. PC components have historically always gone up and down. It's the nature of the beast. But again these settings are optional and it seems that you need a 50 series or higher to run them. If you don't want it then don't buy a 50 series. But I'm sure you will because you're a part of the mob and groupthink is the name of the game. Once the mob tells you it's ok you'll be the biggest cheerleader of it and swear it's the best thing ever
When it comes to AI people are just old men yelling at clouds. The tech is here and is improving they need to get used to it and stop crying every time something with AI presents itself. I imagine Boomers had the same reaction to the internet when it came about.
