DMX had some monster bangers during that run. a 20 vs 20, I would pick DMX any day. Why would anyone pick Hard Knock Life over What's My Name is beyond me, for example.

I don't think X's run is forgotten. And this isn't just about hits. When you put into perspective X's six year run, it is still shorter than Jay's. Jay Z has a lot of big records that weren't necessarily runaway hit singles.
