That was wack tooThat wasn't even an official DMX album. Plus Year of the Dog was better than this.

makes those blu tapes sound like 2001One of the worst mixed/mastered album I've heard in years. Makes the rush/stitch job even more jarring. There are some standout tracks. Bath Salts is cool, Nas snaps. Dogs Out prob the best beat and Wayne floats, Walking In the Rain is great including another dope Nas verse. Snoop track is great. Letter To My Son is touching. Everything else though....forgettable.
Wow. This right here is proof u Coli nikkas is fukkin crazy. Snoop sounds like fukkin Snoop still after all these years and had one of the best guest verses and he should be removed from the song why? The fukk type of shyt should he be saying at 50 years old nikka?
Nah I agree, Grand champ was better to me, but that’s because it had a higher number of tracks that were good, but I do agree with you it was overly bloated too, imagine if he trimmed the fat and dropped a couple skits..The Great Depression is way better than Grand Champ. Grand Champ was too bloated and then they gave away what would've been two of the best tracks to the Cradle 2 The Grave soundtrack.
It sounds like something you hear in a castlevania game.I fukks with it
The only track I can’t stand is the money money money joint
And Southside > Hood Blues![]()
I’m fine with letting past music be past music, but that doesn’t mean bad albums should be propped up just cause it’s a present day album. This album is awful and Swizz is the biggest reason for it. Besides 3 tracks, this album sounds like one of those posthumous albums that comes out 5 years after an artist passes, when the label has already bled their legacy dry. This is a 2002 Death Row album.
