Fall 2001 was really the time I truly became a 'Head

I had just made my first account on :hamster: and set-up my Soulseek account and prolly downloaded this album LOL

Time flies...

Thinkin of dmx this weekend, this right here was a slept on ass album. When im nothing is dope
Yeah I preferred this album to the two before it. Barely any filler, and some great heartfelt cuts. Way overlooked

My favorite album and IMO his best album
The album kind of suffered in sales because because no one wanted to hear something so dark a few weeks after 9 11

Old York
Now if you start with dirt, then you start with hurt
You start with "Oh, you ain't got?"
Well here, take my shirt
Start with work, blood and tears over the years
Goin' through whatever we go through, we stickin' it out here
Pups turn into dogs, tadpoles into frogs
I'm just eatin' what's in front of me, ain't thinking about yours

"Who we BEEEE"

I REMEMBER my step-dad got the bootleg a week early then copped it when it came out and gave me the bootleg copy.

I'd say this is my most listened to DMX album.

But honestly "Damien III" is my favorite song off this album:

— I don't really need you, nicca, fukk you
— WHAT :what:
