Part of the problem is that the MSM are neo liberals brehs.. they do not identify with democrats that came from the bottom. They identity with Hillary Clinton and they will only go as far as Barry who wasnt exactly beought up in the hood. The MSM is subconsciously an extension of the democratic party and the are rooting for Neo libs all the way. I don't know what some people are expecting out here. There are also people out here acting like choosing him for DNC chair is picking him to be president or some shyt.
Schumer is backing Ellison to preempt a revolt against him in the senate or a potential primary challenge(Teachout could threaten him greatly). Reid I really believe is just a pure partisan with little ideological basis. He thinks Ellison is a good pick genuinely, at least imo.
